Meet the Maker
Growing up, I had a few dreams that never waivered, never faded despite having a habit of flitting from one idea to another. I wanted to make beautiful things, and I wanted to be a witch. Belladonna Botanicals is the product of this lifelong passion for creating art and beauty with an aesthetic and spiritual inclination towards the natural world. As a maker, I’m never able to keep my creations to a singular type of item. I always want to learn new things and create new art, and my favorite art, by far, is usable art. Holding a Master of Fine Arts, I’ve put my love for the arts into painting, performance art, fashion and costume design/fabrication, makeup artistry, and of course making beautiful soaps, salves, candles, and more.

Eco-Friendly
A great love for animals gave rise to an interest in creating a lifestyle that is as eco-friendly as possible. From reducing waste by buying in bulk, choosing reusable glass storage containers over plastic, composting, gardening, repurposing and refinishing when possible rather than buying new, and making ethical, contentious purchases, it seemed only natural to create a business with a core values of being low waste and as natural as is practical. Sometimes the best thing for the environment is choosing non-toxic synthetic ingredients that are less detrimental on the environment. Great care and research is put into making ethical choices.
