Cinnamon + Clove Henna Shampoo Bar
Homemade Shampoo | Handmade Vegan Soaps | Organic Soap | Henna Soap | Shampoo Bar
All-natural, cold-process shampoo soap made with organic oils. This Cinnamon & Clove Henna Shampoo Bar is formulated for a high lather, cleansing, non-drying wash. Cinnamon leaf essential oils stimulate the scalp potentially improving hair growth and henna leaf powder holds a myriad of conditioning and fortifying benefits for hair! If you have light color or dyed hair, it's best to avoid henna powder as the content in the shampoo bar may be of sufficient quantities to lightly stain your hair. If you have dark hair or, even better, henna dyed hair, or don't mind a slight tint - this soap is for you!
Organic Olive Oil, Organic Avocado Oil, Organic Cocoa Butter, and Organic Shea Butter make this soap super moisturizing and soothing for dry or delicate hair, and Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Castor Oil add a nice cleansing lather.
I use as many organic ingredients as possible and grow many of my own herbs and flowers as additives to make all of my artisanal soaps and products with Mother Earth in mind. This shampoo is of course fantastic for the hair and scalp, but also vegan, palm-free, and made with sustainable practices.
100% all natural, gluten free & vegan friendly, biodegradable, safe for all hair and skin types, hypoallergenic, vegetable-based, no parabens or SLS & phthalate-free
Large 3.75-4.5oz bar
Recommended Add Ons:
Natural Wood Soap Dish - these well draining soap dishes extend the longevity of your soap by allowing them to dry completely between uses
Moisturizing Hair Oil, 2oz in Rosemary Mint - this hair oil is the perfect addition to your natural hair care arsenal. It's formulated to be lightweight to not weigh down finer hair types, while incorporating Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Avocado Oil, and Apricot Kernel Oils infused with hair fortifying herbs including Red Raspberry Leaf, Comfrey Leaf, Stinging Nettles, and Orange Peel.
**Note: If you haven't been using shampoo bars already, there may be a transition period as you retrain your hair to natural shampoo bars. I highly recommend for the first few washings that you do an acid rinse to clarify the hair from commercial product build up. If you skip this step, there is a good chance that your hair will feel gummy and gross after washing due to the buildup. An acid wash is easy to do - just put 2 oz of apple cider vinegar in 6 oz of water and massage it through your hair. After a few washings, you should no longer need to do the acid rinse!
Ingredients: Water; Saponified Coconut Oil*, Olive Oil*, Castor Oil*, Avocado Oil*, Cocoa Butter*, & Shea Butter*; Henna Leaf Powder; Citric Acid; Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil; Coffee Bean*; Sodium Lactate**; Clove Bud Essential Oil; Sugar*
*organic
**Note: I use Sodium Lactate in many of my soaps to harden the bar and extend the longevity. This is a natural ingredient derived from the natural fermentation of sugars found in corn and beets- sodium lactate is the sodium salt of lactic acid.
